prominent scholars of international relations. It is an endeavor to
address anti-Americanism as a pressing issue in the current
international politics. A subject that is both a toping interest among
Americans and too many other observers of world politics who care
about explanation for anti-Americanism and are looking for an
answer to "why do they in the world dislike Americans?"
The anti-Americanism is mostly considered in this book to be
“the effective or evaluative dimension of the image of the United
States, firmly grounded in beliefs about the U.S. system. By
implication, anti- Americanism is mostly driven by what Americans
or more appropriately the American governments do. The book
however contains diversified articles which find different answers to
this question with various approaches. While some contributors in
this book irrespective of context, argue that anti-Americanism is a
misconception out of generalization, others try to find a nuanced
approach by which any region in the world considered with different
reason and psychology for its resentments and anti-American
sentiments. Therefore analyses of the term however are
fundamentally about politics, their conceptualization of anti-
Americanism tries to distinguish among its cognitive, emotional and
multi-dimensional aspects as opinion, attitude, bias or distrust.
